Real Hope in a COVID-19 World
Now, more than ever, people need a sense of "peace that passes all understanding." We are inundated with breaking news alerts on an hourly basis as the world battles COVID-19. We must all work together to "flatten the curve" by engaging in social distancing, self-quarantining and testing. Even so, we feel anxious in our hearts, minds and bodies.
We are committed to keeping you safe and observing guidelines set forth by the state of Maryland and local authorities in Montgomery County. This includes social distancing throughout the campus and other safety measures.
As we develop a plan for reopening Oakdale, we are considering how our gatherings may look different when we return to in-person services.
We know your input is important in this process to help us move forward. Please complete the Re-Opening Survey with one of the following options:

Everyone is searching for a calm and reassuring voice. Oakdale wants to equip you with Biblical resources to help you navigate this "new reality" while remaining steadfast in prayer for our families, communities, country and the world. Throughout this page, you will find practical tips to help you focus on the here and now.
“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” Matthew 6:34
Staying connected to God and to other people will help reduce our sense of fear and anxiety. In the midst of social distancing, we can still pray and reach out to our neighbors, families, and co-workers.
Our interactive Prayer page offers everyone the opportunity to share prayer requests and praise reports online—for anyone, at any time, from anywhere. We will pray for you and those you care about, and also celebrate God's blessings as you see Him provide in your life.
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and self-discipline.” 2 Timothy 1:7
