Key Scripture: Matthew 13:44-46
When new members join our church, we ask them the following questions: Do you believe and trust that Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior and commit your life to Him? Do you believe the faith you’ve been taught through God’s Holy Word, and do you promise to live a Christian life in obedience to it? Will you be loyal to our church and uphold it with your prayers, your presence, your gifts, your service, and continue to grow in your faith? It is certainly possible for people to answer “Yes” with their lips but not really commit their hearts, their time or their money. However, Jesus taught that you won’t enter the kingdom of God unless you are “all in.”
“Totalmente Comprometido”

Cuando los nuevos miembros se unen a nuestra iglesia, les hacemos las siguientes preguntas: ¿Cree y confiar en que Jesucristo es su Señor y Salvador y confía su vida a él? ¿Cree que la fe que ha sido enseñado por la Santa Palabra de Dios, y se compromete a vivir una vida cristiana en obediencia a él? ¿Va a ser leal a nuestra iglesia y sosteniendo con sus oraciones, su presencia, sus regalos, su servicio, y seguir creciendo en su fe? Ciertamente es posible que la gente responda “Sí” con sus labios, pero en realidad no comprometen sus corazones, su tiempo o su dinero. Sin embargo, Jesús enseñó que no entrarás en el reino de Dios a menos que seas “totalmente comprometido”
