The Second Coming of Christmas Presence: A Companion for the Wait, Part 1

The Second Coming of Christmas Presence: A Companion for the Wait, Part 1

by Kevin M. Baker on January 05, 2021

Key Scripture: Acts 1:1-11

Initially in the Bible, God is present as the Father and reveals His transcendence and power. The Old Testament is full of demonstrations of God’s sovereignty: in creation when He spoke and things came into being; in the way He dealt with rebellious people and nations; in His response to Moses: “You cannot see my face, for no one may see me and live” (Exodus 33:20). He was revealing Himself—and yet He was unknowable. Then, at the first Christmas, God become present as the Son and revealed the depths of His sacrificial love. This Holy God came to earth, walked among us, showed us how to love one another, healed people…and was crucified!

La Segunda Venida de Navidad

Presencia: Un compañero de la espera

Escritura Clave: Hechos 1:1-11
