Your Tithes and Offerings Support the Oakdale Disciple-Making Mission and Vision

We acknowledge that all we have is a gift from God, and as an expression of love we thank God for our blessings and symbolically return the first fruits of our labor as an offering to the Lord. We are thanking that you are a part of the Oakdale Family. Thank you for all you do in partnering with us in disciple-making.

Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back. - Luke 6:38 (NLT)

We encourage all of those who are part of our Church family to give—not out of obligation but out of a spirit of worship. Your gifts allow God's work to be done in our midst, in our community, and in the world around us.

What Is Tithing?

A tithe—which just means “tenth”—is defined as the first 10% of a person’s income that is to be given back to the local church. Tithing is a principle that is taught throughout the entire Bible. When we tithe, we are worshiping God in a tangible way by Him first. Tithing is an opportunity for us to give thanks, trust and completely surrender to God by furthering his command to “Go and Make Disciples.”
