Currently, due to Covid19 restrictions, we are not offering Nursery, Preschool or Kids Ministry services at 9am.
Pre-School In-Person: Join us for Outdoor Preschool Service on Sundays @ 10:30 am! We are currently learning about kids (just like yours!) who trusted God and were even used by Him. This is a time for families to learn and play together. Registration is Required.
Elementary In-Person: Join us for the Outdoor Elementary Service on Sundays @ 11:15am! We will meet in the back lot of church by the fire pits. Registration is Required.
Elementary Online: Zoom Kids Service at 1:15pm
Oakdale’s Nursery Ministry (for infants to age 2) serves kids and parents by providing a warm and safe environment filled with caregivers, toys and play areas. Our nursery is located in the Sprouts Room of Emory Hall and is available during Sunday morning worship times (9:00 & 11:00 a.m.). We’d love to meet you and your little one! For the protection of our children, all nursery ministry staff have received Safe Sanctuaries training.
Preschool
We offer Preschool Ministry for children ages 2 thru 4 years old during our 9:00 a.m. Sunday morning worship service. During the 11:00 a.m. service, preschool-aged children are encouraged to join the Sprouts room where Nursery Staff will provide childcare.
Our Goal - Introduce children to God their Creator, Jesus their Friend and Holy Spirit their Comforter.
We use crafts, games, and playtime to encourage each child to demonstrate the fruits of the Spirit (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and the ever-popular self-control!)
Preschool Check-In
Every parent should check-in your child at the TouchPoint check-in table in the main foyer, using the orange iPads and your phone number. Each child will get a security name tag which s/he should wear so it is visible. The parent will receive a corresponding security tag which you will show to pick up your child.
Elementary
Join us for Elementary worship (Kindergarten-5th grade) during our 9:00 AM Sunday morning worship service. Children who come to 11 AM service should join their parents in the main service for covenant family worship.
All children will meet for corporate worship in the kids' Worship Room (Children’s wing on the 2nd floor). After worship, kids meet in age-specific small groups for a deeper look at the message that was shared during service and the chance to fellowship and build relationships with each other.
- Note: Under supervision, the 4th and 5th graders will walk over to the Bready Building for their small group time. Teachers will walk them back to the Kids' Worship Room for pick up after service.
Our Goal - To see children raised up as disciple-makers who boldly share the Gospel with friends.
Our curriculum centers on two commandments given by Jesus: Love God and Love your neighbor. Every Sunday, we will explore and walk out His commandments through Bible-based teachings and activities.
Elementary Check-In
Check-in your child at the TouchPoint check-in table in the main foyer. Kids may walk up to the Kids' Worship Room or you may escort them. It is required that families check-in and pick up their children from the Kids' Worship Room after service, in accordance with our Safe Sanctuary Policy. For their protection, no child will be permitted to leave the Kids' Worship Room without a parent or guardian.
All Elementary ministry staff have received Safe Sanctuaries training.
