For more than 30 years, ASP’s mission efforts outside of Maryland but within the United States have focused on one-week trips to serve low-income families in Central Appalachia — namely, Kentucky, West Virginia, southwestern Virginia and Tennessee. Both student and adult teams from Oakdale Church have participated in ASP mission trips. While making homes warmer, safer, and drier, our volunteers also witness to God's love, build relationships with the families they serve and learn about the culture of this region.
