Mary Kay Isaacs

Support and Recovery Pastor

I joined Oakdale because of its Bible-based teaching, transparency, and focus on disciple-making. The vulnerability of the staff and the encouragement to come without masks truly resonated with me

At Oakdale, I am the Support and Recovery Pastor and Ministry Leader for Celebrate Recovery. I have a Master's Degree in Counseling and 34 years of personal recovery.

I work as a Christian speaker and Life Coach, helping others overcome obstacles to experience God's best. I have a deep love for the beach, hockey, and crafting.

I’m passionate about walking alongside the brokenhearted to lead them to Jesus, enjoying the joy that preschoolers bring, and being a devoted animal lover—especially to my dogs and grand-pets.

My husband Bill and I grew up in the Olney area. We have three children: Abby who is the social media director for Baltimore County Animal Services; Brendan, a deputy sheriff in Adams County and Jeremy who attends George Mason University and plays on their ice hockey team.

I'm also a passionate ice hockey mom, striving to maintain Christ-like behavior at the rink!
