Tim Parker

Associate Pastor

I joined Oakdale Church because of its dedication to creating intentional communities where new people can come to faith. I have spent 12 years as a pastor, during which my wife and I even planted a church.

I love meeting new people and introducing them to Jesus, learning everyone's stories and connecting them to a community of believers.

Here I serve as the Associate Pastor, primarily overseeing disciple-making. I am a natural connector and networker, enthusiastic about bringing people together to achieve common goals.

I am energetic and positive. I am often described as ambitious and enthusiastic.

My constant high-energy and outgoing spirit is my natural dispostion. I am either "on" or "off". I rest and sleep hard so I can be on the go for 14 hours a day.

Interestingly, despite my resilient character, I tend to pass out when getting blood drawn.

My wife Sasha and I are originally from Pennsylvania and we have three boys, Zeeq, Judah and Levi.

Sasha's family is from Puerto Rico, and my ancestry is Pennsylvania Dutch.

We cherish quality family time, especially around water. Our boys are active and love sports, particularly hockey and wrestling. We also share the gift of hospitality, with Sasha creating a welcoming environment and delicious food, and me making people feel at home through warm conversations.
