Key Scripture: Matthew 6:1-13
In Scripture, everyone who had a vital faith was, at some point, considered crazy. Our struggle often is that we will accept only enough faith to keep from being labeled crazy by the world. But if you look O.K. to the world, maybe your faith isn’t really being lived out. The Apostle Paul wrote to the church in Corinth that the message of the cross is foolishness to the world, but to those who are being saved it is the power of God. Want to be a nut job for Jesus? If you allow God to live in you, you will be different and the world may not accept you. But you and I have to ask this question: Would we rather be accepted by the world and separated from God, or accepted by God and rejected by the world? That’s the decision each of us must make.

En la Escritura, todos los que tuvieron una fe vital fueron, en algún momento, considerado loco. Nuestra lucha a menudo es que vamos a aceptar sólo la fe suficiente para evitar ser etiquetados como locos por el mundo. Pero si nos fijamos bien en el mundo, tal vez tu fe no es realmente vivida. El apóstol Pablo escribió a la iglesia en Corinto que el mensaje de la cruz es locura para el mundo, pero para los que se salvan, esto es el poder de Dios. ¿Quieres ser un trabajador loco por Jesús? Si permites que Dios viva en ti, será diferente y el mundo no puede aceptarlo a ti. Pero tú y yo tenemos que hacer esta pregunta: ¿Qué es mejor ser aceptados por el mundo y separados de Dios, o aceptados por Dios y rechazado por el mundo? Esa es la decisión que cada uno de nosotros debe tomar.
