Oakdale’s mission ministry equips ordinary people to go, and do extraordinary things carrying the love of Christ. Through discipleship, we connect people with volunteer opportunities within the church, the community, the nation, or around the globe based on their spiritual gifts, passions, life experiences, and personality.

"We must be global Christians with a global vision because our God is a global God." —John Stott

Missions Luncheon on June 5

Our missions team invites YOU to a free luncheon on Sunday, June 5, at 12:15PM in the Gathering (following the 11AM service) to learn more about missions at Oakdale. We will provide updates about our international missionaries and partners and spend some time in prayer for them.

Our guest speaker for the lunch is Jose Lopez. He will speak about FreedomFestDC and provide some evangalism training.  FreedomFestDC is a Christian outreach event on July 4 at the National Mall in Washington DC (see www.freedomfestdc.com). Oakdale will be sending a team of volunteers to help with this evangelism event.

This will be a wonderful time of fellowship, learning about God's work around the world and hearing about an outreach opportunity. We hope you can be there!
