Key Scripture: Ephesians 4:17-32
Somehow people have gotten the idea that if a Christian is around, they are supposed to act good. That’s crazy theology. In Ephesians 4, the Apostle Paul begins to describe what a “new life” in Christ should look like. He was addressing Christians—not the whole world—and giving them a basic manual for what it means to on God’s team. Jesus, of course, invited outsiders into his kingdom, but he didn’t make demands of them. Once you commit to following Jesus, however, God expects you to live in ways that honor Him and other people. Why? Because that is the key to experiencing joy and abundant life. Moreover, people around you will see it and say, “I want some of that. Can I be on your team?”
